Information About RocketSnail’s Mech Mice

How Mech Mice is going to be? We gathered essential information given my rsnail (Lance Priebe) in reply to comments on his website. First of all, Mech Mice is Massively Multiplayer Online Tactical Strategy Game. Rsnail and Screenhog are currently working on it and Miller Brothers are going to help them with the storyline. The game will be created in Unity3D that is an integrated authoring tool for creating 3D video games or other interactive content such as architectural visualizations or real-time 3D animations. Unity is similar to Director, Blender game engine, Virtools, Torque Game Builder or Gamestudio in the sense that an integrated graphical environment is the primary method of development. Players will create squads of mice and will battle other players. The game will be free to play but you can pay to have extra features and the game will be rated E10. There will be a beta test in 2013, before the game will be launched. Also, the game will not have an ending, you will can play forever like Chess or StarCraft. You will be able to team-up or compete with your friends. There will be a very basic lobby system. We’ll have a score and rank, but no chat. The Mech Mice are currently at war with Mutant Bugs. Also, there will not be GMs in this game. There will be lots of weapons: blasters, lasers, grenades, rockets, missiles, swords, and a potato gun. Then you have gear: night vision, grappling hocks, jump jets, plasma cutters, and more. Everyone will have access to all the maps and battles. Some items will be permanent, others can be used or destroyed.

When you deploy your squad, you will gain points. Fighting is tactical. You issue commands to each of your mice. Think “chess”. You will have the option to team-up with other players to fight. You control more than one character. Nothing like Club Penguin, MapleStory, Runescape, or WoW. Most of the game takes place underground or in dark forests. The game will be an online only game. They are planning to have missions you can complete with your friends. Those were just some of the most important information rsnail gave to us. Check back later for more.
